Celebrating Excellence: Matrix Connexion Wins Google Cloud Sales & Services Partner of the Year Award for Malaysia

This recognition is not just a feather in our cap; it is a testament to the unwavering dedication and tireless efforts of every individual within our organization.

As we reflect on the journey that led us to this remarkable achievement, we are filled with a profound sense of gratitude and appreciation. From the very outset, our mission at Matrix Connexion has been to leverage technology to drive positive change and empower organizations to thrive in the digital age.

The past few years have presented us with unprecedented challenges and opportunities, and it is during times of adversity that our true mettle is tested. Amidst the global pandemic, we witnessed firsthand the critical role that technology plays in enabling business continuity and transforming lives.

One of our most significant endeavors during the COVID period was the seamless migration of 7,000 users across 34 hospitals for KPJ Healthcare to Google Workspace. This monumental task, completed entirely remotely within three months, not only ensured uninterrupted patient care but also facilitated teleconsultation services via Google Meet, thereby safeguarding the health and well-being of countless individuals.

Our partnership with the Ministry of Education as part of the Digital Learning Initiative has been another highlight of our journey. In record time, we implemented Google Workspace for 5.5 million users, revolutionizing digital education in Malaysia. This initiative not only streamlined user management but also empowered students and educators nationwide with the tools they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.

Furthermore, our commitment to innovation and excellence was further demonstrated through our deployment of mobile device management for over 160,000 end-user devices and the creation of a centralized platform on Google Cloud for 5.5 million users across 10,200 schools.

However, perhaps our proudest moment came in 2022 when we successfully orchestrated the Federal Government of Malaysia’s migration to Google Workspace. This monumental achievement, completed in a record three months, marked the largest single commercial deal for Google Workspace in the non-education sector, and underscored our position as a leader in the industry.

None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the unwavering support and trust of our clients, partners, and supporters. Your faith in our abilities and your collaboration have been instrumental in our success, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

We are also thrilled to share that our CEO, Sean Tay, will be personally receiving the award at Las Vegas, USA, and will be joining Google for a celebratory reception to kick off Google Cloud Next.
